1. STATEMENT ON THE PROTECTION AND COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA AND THEIR USE

At Ford Service Krainc and Krainc Auto d.o.o., as joint data processors, we recognize the importance of personal data privacy and apply high standards for personal data protection. The regulation, adopted by the European Union, dictates high standards that determine how your data is collected and stored and allows you to view it, request deletion and much more. In accordance with the legislation and our awareness of the importance of this area, we have prepared explanations related to the protection of your data and the rights you have as a data owner.

Please read the explanation below carefully before agreeing to the collection or processing of your personal data.

This notice:

  • describes the type of personal data we collect and receive,
  • prescribes the rules and procedures we have established for their use and storage,
  • prescribes the sharing of certain types of personal data in certain limited circumstances,
  • describes the procedures you should follow if you have any questions or requests regarding your personal information or our policies and procedures;
  • contains contact information about the person to whom such questions or requests should be directed and how to communicate with them
1.1 DEFINITIONS

In accordance with REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND COUNCIL General Data Protection Regulation, certain terms in this Rulebook have the following meaning:

  • “Personal data” all data relating to an individual whose identity has been determined or can be determined;
  • “Respondent” individual whose identity can be established is a person who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular with the help of identifiers such as name, identification number, location data, network identifier or with the help of one or more factors inherent in physical, physiological, the genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that individual;
  • “Processing” means any process or set of processes performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether by automated or non-automated means such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, retrieval, inspection, use, disclosure by transfer, dissemination or otherwise making available, matching or combining, restriction, erasure or destruction
  • “Controller” means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body that alone or together with others determines the purposes and means of personal data processing; when the purposes and means of such processing are determined by the law of the Union or the law of a Member State, the controller or special criteria for his appointment may be provided for by the law of the Union or the law of a Member State;
  • “Consent of the subject” means any voluntary, specific, informed and unambiguous expression of the wishes of the subject by which he consents to the processing of personal data relating to him by a statement or a clear affirmative action;
1.2 SCOPE OF APPLICATION

These rules apply to all our guests, clients, and persons who inquire about services and goods. We process personal data of children under the age of 16 exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations. The rules apply to all users and types of processing equally and are enforced by Ford Service.

Ford Service and Krainc Auto d.o.o. may engage sub-processors (other processors) to perform specific processing activities on its behalf. Sub-contractors are allowed to process personal data exclusively for the purposes stated in this Notice.

These rules apply to all information and records, regardless of how they are collected:

  • Electronic mail
  • A physical example of the document
  • Document in electronic form
  • Video and audio
1.3 WHAT DATA WE COLLECT AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE WE COLLECT DATA

We collect from you:

a) Personal data that can be used to identify you:

  • Name and surname
  • Place of residence, city, country
  • ID number

We use this data:

  • to provide the services you request
  • in order to create an offer and/or invoice
  • to provide the services you request
  • in order to report

b) Your contacts:

  • Mobile number
  • E-mail

We use this data:

  • in order to send you notifications about actions
  • to send regular service notifications
  • as well as sending a notification about the execution of the service

c) Financial data:

  • Bill number

We use this data:

  • to process the payment
1.4 WHERE DATA IS STORED

Your data, in physical and electronic form, is stored:

  • At Kačjak 2 – Orehovica, 51000 Rijeka, Croatia
  • On the local server at Kačjak 2 – Orehovica, 51000 Rijeka, Croatia –  there is a secret backup for the data
1.5 YOUR RIGHTS AS RESPONDENT

Right to access personal data – You have the right to access personal data from Krainc Auto d.o.o. get confirmation as to whether personal data relating to you are being processed and information about the purpose of processing, categories of data being processed, recipients, storage time, and about your rights as a subject.

Right to rectification and right to deletion – You have the right, at any time, to request the Data Protection Officer to correct or supplement inaccurate or incomplete personal data related to you. You can request an overview of the data that the manager has collected about you, or the immediate deletion of your personal data.

The right to restriction of processing – You have the right to obtain from the controller the restriction of the processing of your data, if this processing has no legal basis. You have the right to cancel your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. You can cancel the right for a specific purpose or for all purposes of personal data processing with which you have agreed.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we pass on your personal data that we process to another data controller.

Right to object – If you notice that your data is being used for purposes that are not specified in this Notice or the purpose of processing is not legally founded, you can request in writing (by e-mail) the cessation of the use of your data for these purposes.

Our Data Protection Officer will inform you about the progress of the request and the reasons for the rejection of the request within 30 days at the latest.

If you consider it Krainc Auto d.o.o. violated one of your rights guaranteed by the General Regulation, you have the right to submit a request to determine the violation of rights to the competent authority.
